Hello!

I’m Jacci, author and one-time literary festival director. Having led the South Warwickshire Literary Festival and writing competition for four years, I am now back at my desk doing my first love – writing. I have self-published a collection of short stories in the horror genre (another first love) and am now editing my second novel, A Lick of the Tide. It’s a novel about forgiveness, love, redemption and hope, and was Commended in the Marlowe and Christie Novel Award 2026. Out of nearly 1,500 entries I got into the top 100. And as any author will tell you, Celebrate Every Win!

Having run the SWLF writing competition for four years (and read some incredible work) I am now delighted to be one of the judges for the Southam Book Festival 100 Word Short Story Competition 2026.
